The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. This role involves continuous patient monitoring, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
- Operate and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Valid DOH/HAAD license or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum 2-3 years of Medical - Surgical/ICU experience
- Experience with ventilators and critical care equipment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Must be UAE National
